Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 1.31am on Saturday 28 February in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a white male, bald, wearing a black jacket and making groaning noises, tried the door handle of a property. Between the night of Friday 27 February to 5.46pm on Monday 2 March in Alfreton Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of further break in to a house. The property was entered over a flat roof where an upstairs window was forced to gain entry. Tiles were also removed from the roof. Burglary Other Around 4.42am on Wenesday 4 March in Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, a construction site was entered by two males, both white, one in a hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms, black boots and a white backpack. The second was balding wearing a white jacket with hood..They moved a security camera and continued to walk around the site. Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle Between sometime on the afternoon of Saturday 28 February and 8.37am on Monday 2 March at The Hillocks, Sutton in Ashfield, a white Ford Transit van, left in the school car park over the weekend, had the black plastic side panels/side bumpers removed and stolen. Theft On Saturday 28 February in Brand Lane, Stanton Hill, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of Guinea Pigs being stolen from a garden. They were last seen in the morning. Violence against person At 10.10am on Wednesday4 March in Brook Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the caller was on her mobility scooter and glanced at a male as he came out of his flat. The male became agitated, swore at the caller and threw a bag of rubbish at her, He was described as a white male, 5-05”. short brown hair, black framed glasses, wearing a burgundy jumper and dark trousers. Criminal Damage At 6.52pm on Monday 2 March in The Oval, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of teenagers in the upstairs of the abandoned and insecure Shires Care Centre smashing windows. Before 12.24pm on Tuesday 3 March in Beechwood Close, Sutton in Ashfield, someone hit a front door in Beechwood Court with an implement making a hole. The resident is not sure when this happened. Around 5.00pm on Monday 2 March in Hardwick Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, some children have smashed windows at the front of a property and glass in the front door window. ASB At 11.32pm on Friday 27 February in Unwin Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of loud music coming from the Unwin Social Club throughout the evening, with the volume gradually increasing as the evening progressed. At approximately 7.40pm on Sunday 1 March in Forest Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a black Citroen car was driving past Pizza Palace when two males threw a rock at the car. The driver stopped and had the impression that the males were tying to get him to get out of the car. The males were described as 20/25 years old wearing all black clothing, one with his hood up. At 1.35pm on Sunday 1 March in Elderfield Drive, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of ongoing issues with a group of around 10 youngsters, mostly males with one female, seven to thirteen years old. They keep coming into the communal area of the block and had just set the fire alarm off for the seventh time in two weeks. One resident said she had just had her door booted. At 2.43pm on Wednesday 4 March in Forest Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of rough sleepers squatting under the stairway to the callers flat causing distress.
